First Day of School

By now my see-through fence has turned into a privacy fence... with much help of the morning glory.

My Morning glory has been blooming for a couple of days now, but I didn't see the flowers before,
because they are burned by the hot sun by the time I get up out of bed and go outside.

It has now become a sort of tradition that the day I get up early for kid's first day of school, I realize the
morning glory is blooming. And immediately after I am done taking the kid's first day of school pictures, I turn around and start taking  pictures of morning glory flowers, before the sun gets hot and scorches them.

Seeing morning glory flowers reminds me of the First Day of School.

  13. I hate to say this as a different type of morning glory is a terrible weed wrecking havoc in my garden, but yours is very beautiful.

  17. It was years before I knew the name of the morning glory, I have only ever seen a white version of it (a weed) and think the colour is lovely, especially en masse.
