Here is a little more about our visit to Colonial Williamsburg on Veterans day.
Today's post is a lot more color toned down compared to my last post that was full of red,
white and blue colors from the Veteran's Day celebration.

Wow, that first fence has seen better days! It has a beautiful rustic look!
ReplyDeletelove the old split rail! and great homes and picket fences, too.
ReplyDeleteFabulous images!!! So pristine and all-American.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed all . Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteMy first thought was that these photos were taken somewhere foreign so after I read where they were taken, I was surprised. The unusual shape of the basket the one lady is wheeling away with, almost looked like a giant corn cob.
ReplyDeleteLove the split rail weathered fence although I don't think it is going to last much longer!
ReplyDeleteLoved the splitrail fence, you shot it at great angles. Neat looking parade particpants and that last shot looks warm and inviting. A nice haven on a cold fall day.
ReplyDeleteWonderful split-rails and other fences. I miss Williamsburg! It was always one of my daughter's favorite places to go at Christmas time!
ReplyDeletewonderful old fence. Nice to see the people all dressed up in costume.
ReplyDeleteParecen imágenes de una película de colonos;)) Buenas cercas de madera!!
ReplyDeleteUn beso.
Estupendo desfile, se lo merecen!!!

That first fence looks very old, I'm glad it's still hanging together.
